CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M – The Red Cross declared a “National Blood Crisis” on January 10. This means there is not enough life-saving blood being donated to fill the ongoing need. Several COVID-19 patients need blood, sickle cell anemia patients need blood, trauma patients need blood. The more hospitals are slammed, the less blood is available.

Vitalant holds blood drives in Cibola County, the upcoming blood drive will be:

Wednesday, February 23 at Grants High School, 500 Mountain Road, Grants, N.M. 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Please visit https://www.vitalant.org/ to schedule an appointment to give blood, or call 877-258-4825 for more information.
