GRANTS, N.M. – The Grants Public Library’s Summer Reading Program enters Week 8 with a prehistoric planet theme, offering children a full week of dinosaur-inspired games, crafts, stories and activities.
Monday’s activity features a dinosaur egg stomp game and coloring page, followed by dinosaur memory on Tuesday. Children can visit the library at 10 a.m. Wednesday for a hands-on craft, with a bonus cut-andglue dinosaur activity also available.
Storytime will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday. The week wraps up Friday with Lava Flow Punch, a colorful, fizzy drink designed to resemble a bubbling prehistoric stream. The family-friendly recipe combines ginger ale or lemon-lime soda, raspberry or fruit punch juice and orange or rainbow sherbet.
