Easter Supplanted

Dear Editor, Our president chose to ignore and supplant what is arguably the most consequential religious celebration observed in the United States and throughout the Christian world. It is the resurrection, the empty tomb, that proclaims there is life beyond the grave. No other religion (or philosophy) proclaims an eternal existence of peace and harmony for those who choose to believe and accept God’s invitation of eternal life with Him through Jesus, God’s Chosen One.

For the White House to denigrate this profoundly religious celebration by prohibiting religious themed artwork coupled with the proclamation of a competing and purely secular event is beyond the pale of dignity and respect!
