We have officially closed our office, but we are still printing the newspaper. This is a bittersweet move for us, because our goal has always been to keep the newspaper going and continue informing our community about what is happening here at home.

We would love to still have an office in town, but financially, it no longer made sense. With the economy the way it is, this was a necessary step for now. We hope that in the next couple of years, conditions will improve and we will be able to return to town.

One of the things we will miss most is seeing members of the public stop by the office to buy a newspaper, pick up a bundle, place an ad, or simply visit with us. Those faceto- face connections have meant a great deal to us, and they will be deeply missed.

Even though our office is closed, we are still here to serve you. You can reach us on the business number 505-287-3840 or my cell phone at 505-2907050, or by email at ads@cibolacitizen.com or editor@cibolacitizen.com . We remain committed to bringing you the best local news and information possible, while also continuing to support our valued advertisers.

Closing our office was not something we wanted to do, but the most important thing was making sure this newspaper could continue. A small community like ours in western New Mexico needs a newspaper, and we are committed to providing factual local coverage for the people who depend on us.

If you need anything, please give us a call. We are always here for you, and we hope before long we will once again be able to meet our customers face to face in town.

This is just a setback for now, and we fully intend to be back in town with an office again as soon as we can.
