President’s ‘22,243 PROVEN and documented LIES’

Dear Editor;

To Ms. Herrell:

First, let me define a bit of my history. I am a retired geotechnical engineer with the New

Mexico Highway Department and was a registered Republican for approximately 65 years. In 2077 [2017], about this time, when Donald Trump took office, I notified Steve Pearce that the

President showed signs similar to my father, shortly before he died of Alzheimer's Disease, and was clearly mentally unstable in my opinion. When Mr. Pearce failed to reply or take action, I considered my options and, by early February had transferred my registration to the Democratic Party. In doing so, I strongly felt the approval of past presidents Lincoln, Reagan and others.

Your letter to the Cibola Citizen yesterday, in which you bragged of your attempt to subvert the recent United States election was most shameful and reprehensible. You knew, or should have known, that President Trump, at the time of the recent election, had, during his Presidency, stated 22,243 PROVEN and documented LIES and that his moronic claims of election fraud, prepared presumably by the best lawyers he could find, had in every case, been rejected by all the courts of the land. That makes you either an enemy of the United States, a traitor to the state and slave to a traitorous president, or an incompetent and monumentally stupid would-be legislator. We’ll let you decide which you like!

Now, since you want to legislate and since you should want to make amends, here's a suggestion for a law we now all know we needed but thought was unneeded before Trump. Let's pass a law that the oath every legislator and every president and vice-president must take shall include something to the effect that he/she will always speak and write the truth to the best of their ability and agrees that, should they fail in this promise, as determined by a jury of their peers, they will immediately resign or be removed and that, except for the president, who wil1be replaced by the vice-president, they shall be replaced by appointment from the leading opposite party. I would hope it could pass unanimously.

Sincerely

Warren Bennett
