War on America
To the Editor:
350 words is not much for a satisfying rant, but I’ll give it a shot. His Majesty, the Don of Orange, only a year into his latest reign, has nearly prevailed in his war on America. With his army of bullies, bimbos and billionaires, he has pretty much defeated any moral principles or rule of law that would stand against a complete corporate-sponsored autocracy. With a sound track of hymns provided by good “Christian” evangelicals, and the Supremes in their black robes playing corn hole with the Constitution, any moral high-ground or rule of law this country once enjoyed is pretty much toast. (Even war criminals Bush and Cheney seem to almost protest.) Turns out this country was a pushover. With a population that is so unhealthy, cowardly and willfully ignorant and a media competing for the loudest whine of “ain’t-itawful”, America didn’t stand a chance. High prices, poor and unaffordable health care, endless wars? We should know that’s all Obama’s fault. His Majesty just wants everyone to be certain before he fixes it. And he’s the only one who can. Isn’t it satisfying to know that? Truth is whatever Don of Orange says; the rest is fake. Makes things easy, doesn’t it? So, now it’s on to the world. He’ll start by blowing up a few down-at-heels countries who can’t possibly defend themselves. Don of Orange will then ally with Vlad of Red against China (gotta have an enemy) where loyalty is the only law of the realm. Europe will be our little playground. Of course, lots of poor people will die in the subsequent wars. Barron has bone spurs, so he’s out; I’m pretty sure that’s hereditary. So, he’ll lead from behind and host billionaire balls while the carnage expands inside and out. For myself, I want to reap some of the benefits of unbridled greed, cruelty, incompetence and corruption. I want to bask in the sun with some chi-chi umbrella drinks on a seaside resort in Gaza (there’ll be a new name by then, maybe “Trumplandia”). Hope you can join me. Who Will Stop Crime?

The local police and sheriff have canceled the Christmas Light Parade, Shop with the Cops in Grants this year because of threats against them.
The Brown University campus police were on the scene of the recent shooting, had been alerted to the situation, had a presence on campus, but were not able to apprehend the shooter. New York State expressly prohibits the carrying of firearms on college campuses including concealed carry weapon permit holders. Brown University has over 800 campus cameras installed, but during the recent shooting not a single piece of video evidence was available.
Individuals seeking a concealed carry license under a new Supreme Court ruling in NY must now satisfy a rigorous set of new prerequisites designed to assess the applicant’s character, temperament, and judgment. Applicants must complete a mandatory 18hour training course, which includes 16 hours of classroom instruction on firearm safety and the relevant laws, plus two hours of live-fire training. The NY law mandates expanded requirements for demonstrating “good moral character,” defined as possessing the essential temperament and judgment necessary to be entrusted with a weapon. Applicants must have at least four-character references who can attest to their fitness to possess a firearm.
Australia banned many categories of weapons, including semiautomatic rifles and pump-action shotguns, in 1996 and introduced a compulsory gun buyback scheme. The reforms also imposed strict licensing rules, mandatory background checks, a 28-day waiting period for purchases and limits on who can own a gun.
Australian citizens must have a gun license, and a legitimate reason such as for sport or hunting, not self-defense.
So, we let the criminals decide in New Mexico when police will come out and protect us, in New York & Australia we depended on the police to show up fast enough and restrict the right of the people to have firearms to defend themselves.
In case you have not noticed there is a large group of people who could care less about laws, permits, or background checks that are mostly Far Left Democrats who believe guns are the problem but think its ok to feel sorry for criminals and others who believe in “Jihad against hypocrites and disbelievers willing to engage in warfare against those who reject the faith and teachings of Islam.”
