Laguna-Acoma Jr./Sr. High School Honors Student Body

LAGUNA, NM— Wednesday evening, March 20, Laguna-Acoma Jr./Sr. High School honored students and their families with awards for academic achievement.

Recognition was also given for achievements in science. The students were commended for their dedication, intellectual integrity, and hard work.

Science teacher, Mr. Oliver Paras, introduced the following students who were the recipients of the certificates in science: Polly Martinez – Has demonstrated exceptional scientific inquiry, creativity, and dedication. Through ingenuity, hard work, and a passion for discovering, she has excelled in scientific exploration.

Leah Smith – Has exhibited profound understanding and unwavering commitment to healing and compassion. Through tireless effort and a profound respect for the intricacies of the human body, she has exemplified the essence of medical excellence.

Xavier Lorenzo – Through relentless curiosity and unwavering dedication, he has illuminated the path of scientific discovery. May his commitment to science inspire others to reach for the stars and push the boundaries of what is possible. Lynn Melkan – This award celebrates her remarkable journey of improvement in science, serving as testament to the transformative power of curiosity and perseverance.
