An empty ore haul truck operated by Hammon Trucking overturned Tuesday afternoon on U.S. Highway 160 near Black Mesa, Ariz., on the Navajo Nation. The truck was traveling from Energy Fuels' White Mesa Mill in Utah to the Pinyon Plain uranium mine near Grand Canyon National Park. It is believed that heavy rainfall and flooding on the roadway contributed to the accident.

BLACK MESA, Ariz. – A uranium ore transport truck operated by Hammon Trucking overturned Tuesday afternoon on U.S. Highway 160 near Kayenta on the Navajo Nation.
