January 6 Free Movie - CODA

Begin your new year watching an Academy Award winning movie, “CODA” and deaf male actor Trey Kotsur who earned the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. When? Saturday, January 6 at 11 a.m. Where? January 13 Free Youth Art Camps

Making eye catching, fairy, glow jars is the project for January’s first art cmap, Saturday the 13th at 2 p.m.in the Double Six Art Gallery on Route 66 / 1001 W. Santa Fe Ave. All ages are welcome but youngsters need an adult companion.The gallery facilitator, Ms. Myrah Scargati-Graham will be happy to help everyone.

Thursday January 18th, 2024 at the Special Education Complex: If you suspect your child has learning concerns or issues, including giftedness, and you would like to have your child's skills screened, please call Desiraye Lopez 285-2643 to make an appointment. Please make an appointment. All screenings are free. Parents will be informed of screening results at the conclusion of the screening session. Ages 3-21 years old. Who am I? I appeared in the ’22 film “Women Talking”. In ’21 Denzel Washington and I costarred in “The Tragedy of Macbeth”. I’ve earned three Academy Awards – “Fargo”, “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” and “Nomadland”. Watch me in “Nomadland”, Saturday, January 20 at 11 a.m. in the Double Six Gallery on Route 66.
