Grants Candidate Forum The Cibola Federation of Democratic Women is putting on a candidate forum with City of Grants candidates for council and mayor. Event starts at 4 p.m. at Coyote Del Malapis Golf Course in Grants, New Mexico, 2001 George Hanosh Blvd.

February 19

Mount Taylor Quadrathlon

Come enjoy the 39th Annual Mount Taylor Quadrathlon, a test of skill, wit, and endurance. The all-day event will start at 515 W. High Street and celebrates the athletes of Cibola. Events begin at 9 a.m., all events are expected to complete by 7 p.m.

Democratic Pre-Primary Convention

Cibola County Convention will be held virtually on Saturday, February 19, starting at 12 noon. The first step in this process is our Ward meetings and voting for the state-convention delegates, which will all be conducted virtually via a secure zoom session on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Chamber Banquet and community dance

The Grants/Cibola County Chamber of Commerce has moved their annual Chamber Banquet to Saturday, March 5. The Chamber is excited to see the community come out in support of local businesses on March 5. Tickets can be purchased at 100 Iron Avenue. The Northwest New Mexico Solid Waste Authority accepts only corrugated cardboard for recycling.
