Grants Council Workshop

The Grants City Council will host a workshop meet at City Hall Council Chambers at 600 W. Santa Fe Avenue at 3 p.m. This is a workshop; no official action will be taken by the councilors.

Sakalares Blvd Public Meeting

A public meeting will be held to discuss the Sakalares Boulevard Study at Grants City Hall, 600 W. Santa Fe Avenue, starting at 6:30 p.m. Contact: specialprojects@grantsnm.gov no later than June 21 if you need special accommodations like hearing assistance.

Public Library Board

Grants Public Library Board will meet at 1 p.m. at the Grants Public Library, 1101 N. First Street in Grants. Agendas will be available on June 21 at the library.

Art Camp

Gilbert Waconda, multitalented artist, will host an art camp on Saturday, June 25, at the Double Six Art Gallery. Action begins at 2 p.m. and the objective is to construct Dream-Catchers. Call 287-7311 for more information regarding ages allowed, fees – if any – and the length of the session.

Copper Shaping Workshops with Benjamin Lowney Techniques taught: Sinking and forming a copper bowl. Decorating via stamps and punches. Workshop held at Ben’s home studio. Second and third sessions scheduled at the first class. 12- 3 p.m. $40 materials fee to be paid at the first workshop.

The Grants City Lodger’s Tax board will be hosting a special meeting at 9 a.m. in the Grants City Hall Council Chambers, 600 W. Santa Fe Avenue. Agendas can be picked up at Grants City Hall 72 Hours prior to the meeting.
