GRANTS, NM — The Double Six Art Gallery invites the community to join in honoring Día de los Muertos, a vibrant and meaningful celebration of life, remembrance, and tradition. The gallery will host this special event November 1 and 2, offering an opportunity for the public to engage with local art, culture, and history.
The celebration will feature: Local Artists: Showcasing unique, Día de los Muertos-inspired artwork.
Cultural Displays: Traditional altars (ofrendas) created by community members in memory of their loved ones.
Live Music and Performances: Enjoy performances rooted in Mexican heritage, including folk music and dances.
Artisan Market: A variety of handmade crafts, jewelry, and other Día de los Muertos-themed items available for purchase.
Food and Drinks: Savor traditional Mexican treats and refreshments.
