Students Invited to Submit Art

Calling all young artists! New Mexico students in grades K-12 are invited to take part in the Art of Conservation New Mexico Fish Art Contest. Use your creative talents to highlight the beauty and importance of aquatic species, from the prized native trout of the Rio Grande to the colorful bass in our reservoirs. Special awards include the New Mexico Native Trout Award for artwork featuring Gila trout or Rio Grande cutthroat trout, and the Mighty Minnow Award for kindergarten participants.

Deadline to enter: January 31, 2026.
