The program for August 13th will be “Americans in Dinétah: Unrealistic explorations and exciting discoveries” by Sherry Robinson
Sherry is a long time New Mexico Journalist and the author of four books: James Silas Calhoun: First Governor of New Mexico Territory and First Indian Agent, published in 2021, is her most recent. In 1975 she started her newspaper career in Grants working for the Uranium Empire Reporter and then the Gallup Independent.
We look forward to seeing you at the program. Bring Friends! More interesting programs are planned for this year. Work days continue on Thurdsday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Volunteers are needed. Your help in making the museum great would be appreciated.
The museum is open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Airways Heritage Museum is in need of volumteers to host on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please come by and experience this part of Grants history.
