Grants Fire & Rescue, Milan Volunteer Department, Cibola County Fire Command, and the Cibola County Sheriff’s Department responded to report of a structure fire on Panorama Road.
Arriving on the scene, fire crews discovered a fully ingulfed garage with power lines arcing, with propane inside the building. Two attack lines were deployed, crews started extinguishing the fire utilizing two engines and two tenders. Fire crews were able to keep the fire from spreading from the garage to an addition that was under construction also keeping the fire from spreading to surrounding vegetation and equipment.
There were no injuries to homeowners or fire personnel.
