Beginning Wednesday August 2, the Mount Taylor Ranger District will be selling fuelwood permits at their Fort Wingate location Wednesdays ONLY 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m Fort Wingate: 326 D. Painted Horse Trail in Fort Wingate, NM.
Directions: I-40 to exit 33 to NM 400 to the town of Fort Wingate and follow signs to the Wingate Workcenter/ Administrative site.
Fuelwood permits will be for the Mt Taylor Ranger District: Dead Standing/Down Dead Oak; Wildings (transplants). The minimum/maximum purchase will be $20. You may purchase 10 cords of Dead Down District Wide for $20; A Dead Down District Wide Oak for $20 a cord or 2 wildings (transplants) for $20.
