Albuquerque, N.M., May 29, 2024 — The New Mexico State Bar Foundation’s Modest Means Helpline will be hosting a free small business webinar on June 12 from noon to 1 p.m. (MT). The webinar is titled, “Department of Workforce Solutions (DWS) 101 for Small Businesses.”
This webinar is the third in the Modest Means Helpline’s FREE 2024 webinar series for New Mexico small business owners. The June 12 webinar will be presented by leadership from the Department of Workforce Solutions, including DWS Cabinet Secretary Sarita Nair. Topics will include issues pertaining to wage and hour laws, paid sick leave laws, Unemployment Insurance Tax and more.
Designed with small business owners’ interests in mind, the webinar will also give attendees the ability to ask questions and learn more about the Department of Workforce Solutions’ operations and functions and how those tie in with a variety of employment and labor law issues.
