GRANTS, N.M. — Food and craft vendor registration is expected to open Sunday, Jan. 19, for Spokes on 66, a two-day Route 66 celebration returning to Historic Downtown Grants on Friday and Saturday, June 5–6.

Organizers describe Spokes on 66 as one of the community’s biggest Route 66 weekends of the year, bringing classic cars, live entertainment, family activities, and downtown shopping and dining together in the heart of Grants.

Vendor spaces will be limited, and organizers are encouraging interested businesses, makers, and food vendors to plan ahead once registration opens.

Event Schedule Friday, June 5

• Food trucks and craft vendors

• Free bounce houses

• Nostalgia cruise down Historic Route 66

A milestone year for the community

This year’s Spokes on 66 will also fall during a milestone year locally, marking the 45th anniversary of Cibola County and the City of Grants becoming a city.

More details about vendor registration and event logistics are expected closer to mid-January. Vendors and attendees should watch for official announcements as the registration date approaches.
