GRANTS, N.M. – The annual Veteran’s Day celebration at Veteran’s Park in Grants, N.M. saw veterans from across Cibola County come to honor and support each other, along with numerous civilians who wanted to thank their county’s soldiers for the sacrifices they made to preserve America’s freedom.

Husky man robs Albuquerque bank

ALBUQERQUE, N.M. – The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for an unidentified husky man who robbed a bank inside a Walmart Supercenter on Monday (11/15/2021). The robbery occurred at First Convenience Bank, 301 San Mateo Blvd. SE, at approximately 10:09 a.m.

Carjacking suspect arrested in Albuqerque

ALBUQERQUE, N.M. – November 12, 2021 – Moses Gutierrez was arrested by the United States Marshals Service-Southwest Investigative Task Force (USMS-SWIFT). The arrest of Gutierrez was based on several felony warrants out of Valencia County, NM.

GFR puts out brush fire near county building – Grants Fire and Rescue was called out to a brush fire between Bonita Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue in Grants, New Mexico. The small brush fire was quickly put out by GFR, producing a significant amount of white smoke as the flames were extinguished.
