GRANTS, N.M. – Cibola County paused at 11:11 a.m. on Veterans Day to honor the men and women who have served in the U.S. armed forces, gathering along Route 66 and downtown Grants for ceremonies, fellowship, and reflection.

The City of Grants Police Department joined children for two community events last week. On Wednesday, Oct. 29, officers visited Grants Head Start for a Halloween celebration with students and staff. The following day, Oct. 30, they took part in the annual Pancake with Heroes breakfast at Mt.
