August 21 Guided Hike to Lobo Canyon Petroglyphs Join a BLM Ranger for a guided hike to Lobo Canyon Petroglyphs site in Cebolla Canyon. Petroglyphs are a part of the Native American living culture. It reminds them of who they are and where they come from. Meet at La Ventana Natural Arch Parking Area off Highway 117 (Take exit 89, south on highway 117 from I40, its about 18 minutes to La Ventana Arch) at 10 a.m. and we will caravan to Lobo Canyon Petroglyphs trailhead. Program will last an hour. It is an easy hike, but a short and steep arroyo crossing to get to the Petroglyphs site. Bring water, hiking sticks, snacks or a sack lunch.
