On February 24, 2023, Ashley Arrossa, P.E. was recognized as the New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers (NMSPE) Engineer of the Year. Selection for this award is based on service to the community as well as engineering experience. Ashley is a licensed professional Environmental Engineer in the state of New Mexico and has worked at INTERA, Incorporated in Albuquerque, NM for over 11 years on State Lead cleanup Sites, groundwater monitoring projects, mining reclamation and remediation projects throughout the state.
A local GHS grad of 2006, she attended New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Engineering in 2010. She has been a member of the Society of Women Engineers since 2009 serving in various leadership roles and is currently the Vice President of the local New Mexico Engineering Foundation (NMEF).
