John Randolph Hoffman ('Randy')

Body

In loving memory of John Randolph Hoffman (“Randy”), a beloved husband, father, and friend. John “Randy” was born in Santa Ana, Orange County, California, on April 18, 1946, to his proud parents Bob and Beverly Hoffman, and was their only child.

He was preceded in death by his father: Robert T Hoffman (Bob); and his mother: Beverly Jane Roberds Hoffman (Bev).

Randy is survived by his spouse: Ina May Berryhill Hoffman; his three sons: Caleb (Esther) Hoffman, Kyle “Scott” (Cherry) Hoffman, and Brandon (Melody) Hoffman; along with his 11 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members from both sides of his family.

Randy lived life to the fullest and was known for his infectious smile and warm greetings to everyone he met. A dedicated worker, he poured his heart into his projects, particularly those involving agriculture, horticulture, and landscaping. Randy had a deep love for teaching and learning, and he invested countless hours in his family genealogy, always ready to assist others in their own quests.

He was a loyal friend with a unique ability to connect with people from all backgrounds. Randy took immense pride in his three sons and was fiercely protective of them. His unwavering love for his wife Ina May was evident in every aspect of his life, including his personal spiritual journey.

Randy was a man of strong convictions and emotions, never hesitant to share his opinions. His passionate nature extended to his family life, where he nurtured and guided his boys with equal fervor. Although accustomed to having his way as an only child, Randy balanced this trait with immense love and support for his family and friends. Even in moments of disagreement, his reflection was swift, followed by gestures of love, kindness, and gratitude.

Our family cherishes the memories of Randy’s love and influence, which will endure in our hearts forever. We are grateful for the friends and loved ones who enriched his life. Your thoughts, prayers, and expressions of love have comforted us during this time.

Randy, you are deeply loved and dearly missed. Your spirit will continue to guide us as we remember and honor your legacy of love.

With love and gratitude, The Hoffman Family
