In Loving Memory of Miguel Pablo Chavez Miguel Pablo Chavez, 39, passed away unexpectedly in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on June 25, 2026.
Miguel was born on August 29, 1986, in Grants, New Mexico, to Michael and Peggy Chavez. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his love of the outdoors, and the joy he found spending time with those he loved.
Miguel cherished fishing and hunting with his dad and uncles, treasured the time he spent with his mom, and found peace and strength in reading the Bible. His faith, love for family, and positive spirit touched the lives of many.
Miguel is lovingly survived by his parents, Michael and Peggy Chavez; his sisters, Malinda Martinez, Melissa Porter, and Michelle Chavez; as well as his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Mike, Grandpa Manuel, Grandma Josie, Aunt Eva, Cousin Flavio, Uncle Robbie, and many other loved ones who welcomed him into eternal rest.
Miguel’s passing was unexpected, and his loss leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on through the love he shared, the faith he carried, and the countless lives he touched.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at St. Teresa Church. The Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass. Burial will take place immediately afterward, with a comida to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
The Chavez family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time. Miguel will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
