Phillip Patrick Ortiz Jr., March 09, 1962 – May 13, 2026 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phillip Patrick Ortiz Jr. beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and companion. He passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026 into the Arms Of Our Lord in Albuquerque after a lengthy fight with cancer.
He is preceded in death by his parents Phillip Ortiz Sr., Sally Sanchez and his sister Tina Kingery.
He is survived by his companion Maria Martinez, daughter Samantha Grano and husband Rudy, His four grandchildren Rudy, Simon, Feloniece & Rian. Four great grandchildren: Finn, Khloe, Paisley & Kayden. Sister Marcella Lucero and husband Daniel, Brother Toby Ortiz. He had nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts as well as cousins and friends.
The following serve as pallbearers: Rudy Grano, Jose Nava, Yubini Mendoza, Destiny Ortiz, Chavela Molina and Poncho Fernandez.
Services will be held at the San Rafael Church in San Rafael NM on Tuesday May 26, 2026. Viewing at 9:00am, Rosary 9:30am, The mass of Christian burial at 10:00am with interment immediately following at the San Rafael Cemetery.
