To the Editor The Democrat Party’s juvenile behavior at the last State of the Union address achieved a new low in expressing their disdain for not only the institution (Congress), but also for us, the American people. If this was not grievous enough, they also put on childish clown shows that served, at best, to show their juvenility and disdain not only for Congress, but also for you and me!
Unfortunately, our State’s Legislators must have drunk the same “Kool-Aid”. They (our legislators) have now threatened the economic health of our community, especially those whose jobs are now in jeopardy!
The Legislature seems to think that one’s ethnicity and socioeconomic status must trump all immigration laws impeding the legalization of one’s presence in the United States. Therefore, since illegals should not be arrested, imprisoned or deported, there is no need for prison related jobs.
Aren’t you glad you voted Democrat?
Furthermore, the Legislature seems to think there is virtue in rewarding the illegal (criminal) behavior of a certain class of law breakers (illegal non-citizens) versus other criminals.
Something to think about: Can any nation survive, and prosper, when individual segments of that union refuse to honor the very rules/laws that they, through their democratically designated representatives, have written and agreed to?
As for me, I will never again vote for anyone associated in any way with the Democrat Party!

Big Brother is Watching You
Dear editor, The police shouldn’t have a drone. The police shouldn’t have shot detectors.
Big Brother shouldn’t have eyes in the skies and ears in the trees.
Albuquerque and Santa Fe Police have access to shot detectors but they don’t ever answer about whose rights they’re violating. They don’t tell you about how while the detectors are looking out for bullet sounds they’re always listening to your conversations and sending those to a server to be listened to the nsa without a warrant. When the police fly their drones over your backyard it takes piuctures and video of your backyard without a warrant for your backyard. What if they catch you going naked to a pool? Big Brother has permission to take a picture of your nuts that’s public record and not get a warrant. What about when a crime is committed? The police don’t show up with their drones or audio recorders for you. Not even for the wealthy, since Nancy Guthrie is still missing. Those police drones serve no purpose but violating rights.
Police are important. But they aren’t doing the important work. So many Epstein people in New Mexico and so many cops but 0 investigations! Come on, state police do arrests!
