A Good Neighbor

Dear Editor, I want to share with you an experience which has added to my appreciation for the people of Grants.

Recently, when I tried opening my emergency sliding door, it would not open. So I called William of Will Unlock and Key. He spent about a half hour for what he implied was a temporary fix and then suggested I call someone about getting a new door.

When I tried to pay him, he shook his head no. I persisted, but again he said no. I asked him if he is a religious or spiritual man. He said, 'both,' and that he was brought up to do at least one good deed a day. He emphasized the word 'least.'

I was impressed by the generosity he showed, and thought what a fine example he is for the rest of us. Thank you so much, William, of Will Unlock and Key. It's people like you who make Grants a lovely place to live!
