GRANTS, NM - According to the New Mexico Environment Department, Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl are substances that do not easily break down in the environment due to their chemical properties and have been manufactured all around the world since the 1940s.

Future Inventors, Engineers Compete and Learn at Science Fair

SOCORRO, N.M. – Prompted by challenges posed by wildfires, water shortages, and the COVID-19 pandemic, future scientists, engineers, and inventors showcased their innovative ideas and solutions at a statewide competition hosted by New Mexico Tech.

Cibola Drought Monitor – February Update

Cibola County is “In Drought”, according to the US National Drought Mitigation Center, a part of the United States Department of Agriculture. While the county is still facing abnormally dry conditions, no part of the county is considered as being in severe drought.
