CIBOLA COUNTY, NM Lettuce is easy to grow if you know a few secrets to their production. This is the first place I have been able to grow lettuce in the summer. I live in Thoreau and it is a little cooler then Grants, but you can enjoy fresh lettuce in your salads all summer long too.

GRANTS, N.M. – An inmate with a history of stabbing correctional officers was serving out a sentence at Western New Mexico Correctional Facility when he allegedly stabbed a local prison guard. Jesus Alberto Robles has a history of stabbing prison guards.

CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. A single pill of Fentanyl can be enough to kill a person. On March 3 the Cibola County Sheriff’s Office confiscated 114 of these pills, along with 143 OxyContin and 35 Oxycodone pills, 129.5 grams of methamphetamine, and a loaded handgun.
