Convicted Murderer Gets Additional Prison Time After Attack on Detention Officer at Cibola County Facility

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A man already serving a federal prison sentence for a 2020 murder has been sentenced to additional time behind bars after authorities said he assaulted a detention officer at the Cibola County Correctional Center while he was in custody awaiting trial.

Acoma Man Indicted on Federal Charges Alleging Sexual Abuse of Two Minors

GRANTS, N.M. – A 21-year-old Acoma Pueblo member has been indicted on federal charges alleging he sexually abused two minors in separate incidents in late 2024 and early 2025, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Mexico.
