August 3 Cemetery Board Meeting The Grants Cemetery Board will meet at 4:30p.m. in the Council Hall Chambers with simply 600 W. Santa Fe Avenue. Agendas will be available July 29.

GRANTS, N.M. – COVID-19 put a damper on the success of Cibola County. This was especially true of the world-famous Marine Corps JROTC Program at Grants High School in Grants, New Mexico.

The Grants High School Marine Corps JROTC department is in transition. The Marine Corps Jr. Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets worked for 19 years with George Garcia, Ricky Matteson and Emilio Barela. Since 2021, John Hollins has taken the leadership position, with 42 years of Marine service.
