Community members gather together on a July 31 evening at the Fire and Ice Park in Grants, New Mexico to have a “Grill n’ Chill”. The gathering started at approximately 4 p.m. and the community was encouraged to bring their “cars, trucks, bikes, and BBQ grills,” which is what they did.

Traffic Report for August 2 – 13, 2021

NMDOT asks all motorists to reduce speed, obey all posted traffic signs, use caution, and watch for heavy equipment and construction personnel in all work zones. PLEASE NOTE: Conditions are subject to change without notice. Double fines for speeding in work zones in effect.

Library courtyard reopened

After over a year of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Grants Public Library courtyard is now opened to be enjoyed by the public.

Read any good books lately? If so, join us for “Book Talk” at 1 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month at the Grants Public Library. This is no ordinary book club where everyone reads the same book and has a set of questions to answer.
