Abel Richard “Rick” Marez, age 64 of Galena, passed away at 2:33 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Mercy Hospital of Joplin, MO following an illness. Rick was born in Anaconda, NM to parents Louis G. Marez and Josie G. Garcia Marez. He graduated from Grants, NM High School with the Class of 1975.

Clarence L. Marquez (Clinks)

Clarence L. Marquez (Clinks), 62, of Los Lunas passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2021. He was born and raised in Grants, New Mexico and moved to Los Lunas in 1987. He married the love of his life, Beatrice, on February 4, 1978.

Michelle Marie Semeraro passed away on June 4, 2021 at her home in Grants, New Mexico. She is 56 years of age. Michelle was born on January 31, 1965 in Butte, Montana. Michelle formerly worked as a nail tech for Eclipse Nail and Spa, and Studio 2nd.

Robert Jordan III

Robert Jordan III, age 78 of Rio Rancho, NM passed away peacefully on June 3, 2021. He is a former officer with Rio Rancho Police Department and Veteran of the US Navy of 22 years. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Jordan and children.

Albert Joseph Chavez

Albert Joseph Chavez, 51, of Grants, New Mexico, passed away on May 25, 2021, after an 11-year battle with liver failure. Albert was born on June 5, 1969, to Senovio and Millie Chavez in Springerville, Arizona. He worked as a journeyman carpenter and traveled around the country with his family.

Mildred Mary Welsch

Mildred Mary Welsch, 96, passed away May 77,202L at Avamere Independent Living in Rio Rancho, NM. Mildred was born in Dover, Ohio to Henry Schilling and Ethel Hess Schilling on December 29, 1924. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband Herbert Welsch, Sr and daughter Paula Ann Welsch.

Barbara Hahn

Barbara Hahn left our world on the May 10. She died peacefully at Cibola County General. Barbara was a lovely person who spent a good deal of her life taking care of her sister, Jackie, who was mentally handicapped.

Funeral arrangements have been made for Mary Ellen Ward and will be held at San Rafael Catholic Church, 100 Guadalupe Plaza, San Rafael, NM Friday June 11th with rosary starting at 9:30am followed by Mass. A Celebration of Life will follow Mass in the Hall at the San Rafael Catholic Church.
