GRANTS, N.M. – The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals, is seeking public assistance in the ongoing search for two young siblings, Luis and Kahmila Ramirez, who were abducted in May 2018 by their noncustodial parents.

The parents, identified as Luis Ramirez (36) and Andrea Vanessa Ramirez (34), are currently wanted by The U.S. Marshals Service on charges of Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, and Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution. Authorities allege that on May 4, 2018, the wanted couple assaulted a social worker during a supervised visit at Silverlake Park in Tucson, Arizona. The assault reportedly involved duct-taping and tasering the worker before fleeing the scene with their two children.

Forensic artists at NCMEC have worked diligently to create age progression images of Luis and Kahmila, providing an idea of what the siblings may look like today at ages 12 and 6.

Law enforcement officials believe that Luis Sr. and Andrea Ramirez are currently residing in Mexico with their two abducted children. In an effort to locate the missing siblings and their parents, authorities are urging anyone with information about their whereabouts to come forward.

Tips and information regarding Luis Sr., Andrea, Luis, and Kahmila Ramirez can be reported to the NCMEC at 1-800-843-5678 or the U.S. Marshals at 1800-926-8332. Additionally, tips can be submitted online at usmarshals.gov/tips.

Residents in Cibola County and surrounding areas have been asked to remain vigilant and report any potential sightings or information that could aid in the safe recovery of Luis and Kahmila Ramirez. Authorities emphasize the importance of community involvement in assisting with this ongoing investigation.
