GRANTS, N.M. – Grants Police Department responded to a crash involving a dirt bike and ATV on September 2 just off of Santa Fe Avenue, behind Veteran’s Park.

The crash involved two people, one of whom was flown out for their injuries. The other rider was uninjured, according to GPD Lieutenant Jeff Marez. The crash did not involve a train, despite the scene’s proximity to the railroad tracks. An update on the victim’s status was not available by press time.

Grants Police Department urges drivers to be cautious when driving or operating all types of vehicles, including all-terrain-vehicles.
