American Indian Science and Engineering Society recognizes Terry Dayish

SHIPROCK, N.M. — The American Indian Science and Engineering Society recognized Terry Dayish, a Governmental Relations Manager with the Arizona Public Service Company with the 2020 AISES Partner Service Award at its annual national conference.

The AISES Partner Service Award is given to an individual who goes above and beyond the support of invaluable contributions in advancing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, and the overall organizational mission. The AISES staff recognizes Terry Dayish for his service to and advocacy for AISES.

“This honor is not lightly bestowed. This award is a symbol of our appreciation for your support of our AISES mission,” said Sarah Echohawk, AISES CEO.

Dayish is a Licensed Professional Engineer, holds an Electrical Engineering degree from New Mexico State University, and served in the United States Marine Corps prior to starting his engineering career with APS. He is also a co-founding member of the Four Corners AISES Professional Chapter.

“Congratulations to Mr. Dayish on his award and his advocacy to cultivate the regional STEM resources, and to network with students and professionals internal and external to Four Corners AISES Professional Chapter,” said Rachel Brown, Four Corners AISES Chapter President.
