GRANTS - The Grants/Cibola County Chamber of Commerce is hosting their Fall Monthly Luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023. Chamber members are welcome to attend and are welcome to bring a guest. There is no charge. The event is being sponsored by Re/Max Elegance, Heather Porter.
Topic for the event is Collaborative Partnerships for Enhance Business Services and Impact. It is being held at the Coyote del Malpais Golf Course. The discussion panel includes: Anjelica Lancer, a community support advocate for the Office of Economic Development; Keegan MacKenzie, Region 1 representative for the NM Economic Development Department; Shibahn Azaziaah, director of the Small Business Development Center; and, William Yarborough, executive director of Grants Main-Street Project.
The panel discussion will focus on collaborative partnerships and how they bring enhanced services to businesses, making a greater impact in our community. During the discussion, the panel will cover various aspects, including customized training to meet industry needs, unexplored services offered by SBDC and collaborative agencies, and identifying unmet needs of businesses.
“The aim is to encourage discussions on how we can be a value-add and better meet the needs of businesses in our community,” said Azaziahh said. “The discussion will provide valuable insights and opportunities for businesses attending the luncheon to learn about the services and resources available to them through collaborative efforts. We hope to foster engagement and encourage businesses to register with SBDC to access a broader range of services,” she added.
