CIBOLA COUNTY, NM — Cibola County previously reported increases in business registrations over the last two years. There had been 81 new business registrations between December 2019 and October 2021. As existing businesses continue to renew their registrations, new businesses continue to be added. For the first quarter of 2022, eleven (11) new businesses have been added.
New businesses include a commercial painting business, a retail location, solar construction/install, a marketing/branding company, healthcare/counseling, a food truck, an excavation service, cabin rentals, welding services, and an outdoor recreation/hunting guide. These new businesses are located throughout Cibola County with Candy Kitchen having three new businesses open in their area. The area near Grants has two new businesses. Cubero, Acoma, Bluewater Village, and Bluewater Lake, have added one new business to their area. Two out of county business are also providing services within Cibola County.
Existing Cibola County Businesses continue to renew their registrations with a total of 60 renewals so far this quarter. Business Registration renewals began on January 1 and continue through March 1 of 2022. New business registrations are due within 30 days after a new business is established.
