SANTA FE – Cibola County received its first Government Finance Officers Association’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its FY 2020-2021 budget. Its attainment represents a significant achievement by the county reflecting the commitment of the County Manager Kate Fletcher, the Finance Director Paul Ludi, and their team.

In order to receive the budget award, the county was rated “proficient” in the four categories: a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide, and a communications device, and in fourteen mandatory criteria within those categories. A Certificate of Recognition was also presented to the Finance Department designated as being primarily responsible for having achieved the award.
