MILAN, NM – On January 30th Corine Nicholas celebrated her 74th birthday. For the past 5 years she has begun a tradition of giving away a number of cupcakes corresponding

with the age she is turning. This year she gave away 74 cupcakes at John Brooks and all the cupcakes given away were purchased from the grocery store to support the local business. She said God has given her everything that she needs and instead of having a birthday party for herself she would rather give back to her community. She also said that she would like to thank John Brooks for allowing her to continue this tradition.
