It is our healthcare and our money.
How do you feel about socialized medicine? Let us look a little into it.
Question 1. What percentage of seniors would take their government insurance/Medicare for a private health insurance plan?
Question 2. How much are you paying now for your healthcare insurance?
Question 3. What if you could buy a plan where the provider made no profit while insurance CEOs are making millions of dollars?
Question 4. Is there an age or special needs add-on that you pay?
Question 5. What happens if the courts overturn the [federal] Affordable Care Act plan?
Question 6. Where do you come out on that? If everyone is covered, who pays for it? The answer is – we will. Money will be taken right out of our check, much like Medicare, of course the cost would be much cheaper since we are taking out the profit motive of the insurance companies.
Question 7. Will doctors go for such a plan? Answer – some will, some wont. Doctors will not want to battle the insurance companies and wait for their money.
The same holds true for nursing homes and hospitals.
Are there pros and cons about our health plans? Of course, there are, but I will let you argue about it.
