CIBOLA COUNTY, N.M. – After an anomaly in data reporting by the State of New Mexico, data in Cibola County is starting to even out, but the COVID-19 transmission risk in the county remains extremely high. Test positivity throughout Cibola is extremely high, it is very likely the cases are undercounted.

The growth of active COVID-19 cases is slowing in Cibola, and is at the slowest point of growth since mid-September.

From Oct. 18 to Oct. 15, the 20- to 29-year-old demographic saw the highest increase in new cases at 14. They were followed by the 0- to nine-year-old demographic who added 10 cases, and the 50- to 59-year-old demographic who added eight cases.
