June 30:

7:00 p.m.: Miss New Mexico crowns Miss Cibola County 7:30 p.m.: Open Rodeo begins

• Event winners will receive buckles

July 1:

9:00 a.m.: 18 and under Timed Rodeo Event

• Competitors range in age from 3 to 18 years old

• Winners for each age group will receive saddles

July 2:

11:00 a.m.: 5D Open Barrel Race

• Five saddles and a $5,000 award offered in this event 7:00 p.m.: Battle of the Badges Bull Riding Contest

• Departments compete, no entry fee. Winner receives a buckle, and the winning department receives the traveling trophy 7:00 p.m.: National Senior Pro Rodeo and Open Rodeo

July 3:

9:00 a.m.: National Senior Pro Rodeo and Open Rodeo

July 4: 7:30 a.m. – Parade float lineup and entry number pick-up

The Grants/Cibola County Chamber of Commerce has announced that participants can pick up their entry numbers and join the lineup starting at 7:30 a.m.

9:00 a.m. - Parade Start

The parade will officially begin at 9:00 a.m. Participants are expected to adhere to the established guidelines and maintain a festive atmosphere throughout the procession. The parade theme is “A Ride Through the Past”. Parade Grand Marshal is the Cibola County Historic Society.

During the parade, it is important to follow the specified rules and regulations, which include:

• The throwing of candy and other items is strongly discouraged for safety reasons.

• Only registered entries will be permitted to participate.

• Unsafe behavior will not be tolerated, and parade officials have the authority to intervene.

• Drivers of floats must possess a valid driver's license, maintain a clear field of vision, and refrain from smoking on or near the float.

• Water spraying devices and jumping on/off moving vehicles are strictly prohibited.

• The consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages or illegal substances is not allowed.

• Participants are urged to keep moving along the designated parade route, and vehicles should not wait for foot participants.

12:00 p.m.: Time Well Wasted band performs at Fire and Ice Park 2:00p.m.:Rodeobegins

• Bob Weir Rodeo Act and Clown returns to Grants!

2:00 p.m.: 6 and under Mutton Busters competition

• Winner receives a buckle

5:00 p.m.: Parking opens at Coyote Del Malpais Golf Course 6:30-8:30 p.m.: Time Well Wasted band performs at Coyote Del Malpais Dusk: City of Grants Fireworks Display.
