Locomotive Fire

December has started out busy for Grants Fire starting on 12/01/22 at 17:41 Grants Fire received a call of a possible locomotive on fire heading west toward Grants. Grants Fire met up with the train at around the Anzac and Hwy. 124 area. A small fire was burning in the engine compartment of one of the locomotives. Conductors and Grants Fire personnel put out the fire with dry chemical extinguishers. Thank you to Milan Fire for the assistance of providing a tender just in case a much larger fire was found.
