GRANTS, NM - Our small town has been nominated by USA Today as one of twenty best small towns in the west, according to an announcement sent by the Grants New Mexico Chamber of Commerce!

For the next two weeks voting is open to select the best one of the twenty. Voters may vote once every day until polls close on April 1 at noon EST.

Here is what the announcement says about our Grants community: Just an hour west of Albuquerque, you'll find Grants — a little town that offers proximity to a variety of unique and interesting experiences. After taking an obligatory photo with the Route 66 sign, you'll find plenty of things to do, including exploring the volcanic landscape of El Malpais National Monument and enjoying a drink and a bite to eat at Junkyard on 66 Brewery, a functioning auto salvage yard.

Just click on the VOTE tab under this description paragraph found at: https://www.10best.com/awards/t ravel/best-small-town-in-thewest- 2024/.

At the time of this writing we ranked 8 out of 20 with 21 days left to vote.

With the new Multi-Use Arena that just broke ground at the Rodeo Grounds just think what this type of recognition will mean for our small town. Grants is always changing for the better.

Nominees are submitted by a panel of experts. 10Best editors narrow the field to select the final set of nominees for the Readers’ Choice Awards. Readers can vote once per category, per day.
