Fire Crews Stop Abandoned House Fire

GRANTS, N.M. –

A house fire on the east side from Santa Fe Avenue, across the street from Canton Café in Grants, New Mexico, was stopped by firefighting teams who quickly responded and cut the flames down before the house before the building was completely destroyed by the fire. Grants Fire and Rescue was

Grants Fire and Rescue was joined by Milan Fire Department and Cibola Fire Command to tackle this fire. The joint operation by crews managed to put out the flames quickly.

Grants Police Department and New Mexico State Police closed off the interstate for the safety of fire crews.
