In loving memory of our father, Jose Manuel Vasquez, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 72 in Plano, TX. He was born on May 11, 1950, in San Julian, Jalisco, Mexico to Manuel and Maria Vasquez. He was the devoted husband to Ruth and loving father to Manuel Vasquez, Yolanda Vasquez and Teresa Brown. He was a wonderful Grandfather to Chelsea Griego, Anna Diaz, Ciara Diaz and Connor Brown. Our father was a true role model who we will always look up to. He learned the importance of hard work at an early age and instilled that same work ethic in us. He enjoyed helping others when needed, stayed involved with the community all while running his business with Ruth for 43 years. He is predeceased by his parents; Manuel and Maria Vasquez; sisters, Mary Kelly and Linda Miranda; brother’s, Rudy and Harvey Vasquez. He is survived by his wife Ruth, sisters, Celia Razo, husband Abel, and Graciela Vasquez, brothers, Joe Vasquez and Rene Vasquez and wife Nancy. Family, friends, and others whose lives Manuel touched are invited to the services at St. Teresa of Avila on Friday May 19th at 10am, burial at the Grants Cemetery followed by reception at the Knights of Columbus from 11:30am-1:30pm. Dad, you are now at peace, but you will live on forever in our hearts.
