Thursday, August 31: Animal Check-ins and Indoor Exhibits

• 9:00 AM: 4-H and FFA kids check in their animals.

• Acceptance of indoor exhibits, including baked goods, flowers, sewing, quilting, welding projects, and more.

• Preparation for a weekend of community engagement and exhibits.

Friday, September 1: Exhibits and Animal Shows

• 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM: Vendor booths open.

• 10:00 AM: Indoor exhibit judging begins.

• 1:00 PM: Market Lamb Show followed by Booster Lamb Show and County Bred and Breeding Show.

• 2:00 PM: 4-H exhibits open.

• 3:00 PM: Market Goat Show followed by County Bred and Breeding Show.

• 4:30 PM: Rabbit and Poultry Show.

• Afternoon: Community cakewalk, featuring numerous homemade cakes.

• Evening: Enjoy diverse exhibits and animal showcases.

Saturday, September 2: Rodeo and Family Activities

• 10:00 AM: Open Exhibits building opens, displaying crafts and baked goods.

• 11:00 AM: Pet show begins, followed by an animal costume contest.

• Stick horse race for youth with buckles as prizes.

• Afternoon: Market Beef Show.

• 5:00 PM: Basket bingo featuring prizes and gifts from supporters.

• Evening: Youth dance to support the new Grants FFA program.

Sunday, September 3: Contests and Junior Livestock Sell

• 9:00 AM: Public Speaking Contest.

• 10:00 AM: 4-H games commence.

• 1:00 PM: Junior Livestock Sell, a culmination of the fair where businesses and supporters purchase livestock from participating youth.

• Grace Tsosie Memorial Rope to End Alzheimer’s Breakaway Jackpot rodeo at 1:00 PM.

• 7:00 PM: Deadline for all animal paperwork.

Monday, September 4: Conclusion and Rodeo

• Release day: Exhibitors can pick up their exhibits.

• 10:00 AM: Rodeo event.

Throughout the Fair:

• Diverse exhibits, showcasing community talents and craftsmanship.

• Animal shows including market lamb, market goat, market beef, rabbit, and poultry.

• FFA exhibits, promoting agricultural awareness and skills.

• Collaborative efforts with the Prewitt Roping Club, enhancing the rodeo experience.
