GFR partnered with Walmart, Chavez Plumbing and Smiths grocery store on June 21 to supply water to the firefighters down in the Ruidoso area. We obtained information advising they were starting to get overwhelmed with donations. GFR then reached out to the Mt Taylor Ranger District, and they were very happy to receive the donations. Crew 32, Engine 623 and the Mt Taylor Hotshots will be able to have water on their grueling assignments. Thank you to businesses that supported this. Courtesy photos
