James “Pops” Green

James “Pops” Green of Bluewater, N.M. gained his heavenly reward December 20, 2022. A memorial is planned for February 11, 2023 at 1 p.m., with burial on the family land.

James, affectionately known to most as “Pops”, loved his family first and foremost. He was a great provider. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years. James was a kind hearted man that never knew a stranger. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his wife: Mary J. Green of 55 years; son: James A. Green of Bluewater, and Robert J. Green of the Phoenix area, along with their wives; he is also survived by his brothers: Leo Green of Ferndale, Washington and Albert Green of Newport, Oregon.

James was preceded in death by his parents: Maynard and Lillie Green; brothers: Lawson and Marvin Green; and twin daughters: Michelle Lynn and Betty Lou Green.
